Your Position at St John of God Bendigo Hospital
You will assist in maintaining an effective and efficient Health Information Service thereby contributing to the overall delivery of high quality and safe patient care.
You will provide accurate and timely scanning of health record documents and maintenance of the Scanned Health Record System (SHR)
The Position:
- Accurate and timely scanning of health record documents in the Scanned Health Record (SHR).
- Prepare health records for scanning.
- Upload electronic documents into the SHR.
- Perform quality activities on scanned documents.
- Correct identified anomalies in the SHR.
- Ensure and maintain the accuracy of patient information electronically.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with SJGHC policy.
- Perform HIS Clerical duties as directed.
- Respond to telephone and face-to-face enquiries from other departments and external organisations for requests for patient information.
You will have sound written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate commitment to customer service.
To succeed you will have to demonstrate ability to work in a team environment.

The Benefits:
- Salary: $57,859 to $59,522 per annum (pro rata for part time), plus 12% superannuation
- Permanent part time role available working 30 hours per week
