Applicants must have at least 2 years’ experience in Disability and/or Aged Care and hold majority of the following:
- Working With Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
- First Aid & CPR
You are expected to have:
- Reliable Vehicle - Well maintained and clean
- Comprehensive Insurance - if providing Community Access
Your Certification will include and is provided;
- NDIS Orientation Modules 'Orientation and Effective Communication'
- Infection Control
- Medication Management
- Mealtime Management
- Positive Behaviour Management
- Mental health Support (e.g. anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, ASD, Dementia)

About the role
As a Disability Support Worker, you’ll assist clients in their homes and in the community with:
- Personal care
- Medication monitoring
- Incontinence care
- Domestic Cleaning assistance
- Meal preparation
- Social and community support
- Positive Behaviour Support
- Mental health support
Shifts available
We have shifts ranging from 2–8 hours, across mornings, and afternoons. Ideally, your availability will include at least 3 weekends days per fortnight.
