We’re looking for a passionate and experienced leader to manage our retail and bar operations, drive customer satisfaction, and ensure operational excellence.
About the Role
As the Hospitality Venues Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing Profit and Loss accounts for The HUB and retail outlets. This includes ordering, invoicing, stock control, quality assurance, and compliance with legislative requirements. You’ll also coordinate and participate in monthly stock takes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business. You will be based at Coppabella.
This is a DIDO role on a 14:7 roster
Key Responsibilities
- Allocate and supervise staff across departments, ensuring appropriate qualifications and RSA certification.
- Crosstrain team members and clear KPIs aligned with Civeo’s objectives.
- Drive a values-based culture, employee engagement, and succession planning.
- Collaborate with the Health and Wellness Team to support wellbeing initiatives.
- Maintain optimal stock levels and enhance product offerings.
- Ensure a safe and respectful environment for all guests.
- Ensure compliance with Liquor Licensing and internal policies.
- Support daily operations, marketing, and event coordination.
- Implement and optimize POS and stock control systems.
- Collaborate with security and uphold health, safety, and quality standards.
- Monitor labour, COGS, and operational costs, taking corrective action as needed.
- Provide weekly sales reports and monthly financial commentary. Conduct stock checks and audits, ensuring financial compliance.
Skills and experience
- Minimum 3 years in multi-outlet food and beverage management (preferably in hotels or resorts)
- Proven experience with POS systems and managing P&L accounts.
- Strong background in staff management and operational leadership.
- Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; hospitality reservation systems desirable. Willingness to travel and support operations in the Bowen Basin
