Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently, ensuring all procedures are followed
- Handle guest inquiries and provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Manage reservations and cancellations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest rooms are ready and well-maintained
- Handle payments and maintain guest accounts
- Respond to guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and courteously
- Maintain a neat and orderly front desk and reception area
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as filing and photocopying
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role in the hospitality industry
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
