Tyrian Serviced Apartments Fitzroy, opened in 2009, combines the luxury of space with award winning service. Tyrian provides guests with a unique serviced apartment experience and the ability to enjoy the excellence of a five star hotel without compromising on the comfort of home. In two convenient locations, Tyrian is proudly owned and managed by the Hallmarc Group.
We are seeking an experienced housekeeper to join our small, close-knit team at our Fitzroy location.
Job tasks and responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
- Check and replace the stock of relevant supplies and equipment
- Ensure that all company standards for cleanliness are met consistently
- Adhere to strict health and safety requirements
- Utilize cleaning practices that protect equipment and furniture
- Interact with customers as needed, including dealing with reasonable requests and complaints with professionalism and patience
- Work well with the broader cleaning team
- Report and return lost property
Skills and experience
- Previous experience as a housekeeper or in another professional cleaning role
- Working knowledge of the English language
- The ability to work efficiently while meeting company standards
- The ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job
