Job Description
As part of an exciting uplift to our corporate systems, we are embarking on an implementation of Workday across our People, Payroll, and Finance operations. As such, we are looking for a HR Business Analyst to join the team on a 12-month maximum term contract!
The HR Business Analyst is responsible for ensuring that business needs are understood and delivered by; being the direct link between business stakeholder and the solution design and delivery process. You’ll drive the analysis and facilitation of strategic advice to support project decision making. You’ll assist with planning and delivery across all project activities and deliver artefacts and outcomes in line with best practice business design and analytics frameworks.
You’ll also make an impact by:
- Planning the approach and activities for project delivery
- Conducting stakeholder analysis as required
- Planning requirements management for Project
- Managing requirement interdependencies between Finance, Payroll & P&C
- Supporting the identification, analysis and capture of Risks & Issues, along with Risk mitigation plans
- Preparing for and facilitating workshops
- Eliciting, analysing, validating and capturing requirements through multiple techniques, e.g. traceability matrix
- Working pro-actively with business stakeholders to define and document business requirements as required
- Creating cross-functional process flows as required
- Performing Data & Gap Analysis and Research as required
- Defining and developing any artefacts required, including review and approvals with business stakeholders
Qualifications
What you’ll bring
You’ve got an analytical way of thinking, with the ability to solve complex problems; you’ve got excellent communication skills and a real knack for influencing and negotiating. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are driven to contribute to a dynamic team.
To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
- 5 years + experience in business analysis and/or HR support services.
- Experience with Workday projects is desirable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of structured business analysis principles, approaches, methodologies, and tools.
- Strong experience conducting analysis and delivery of HR business requirements and artefacts.
- Demonstrated experience working independently and with multidisciplinary project and business teams.
- Demonstrated ability in problem solving, strategic thinking and issues management.
- Demonstrated experience in influencing and negotiating with multiple stakeholders to manage and resolve complex issues and disputes during project delivery.
Although not required the following experience would be highly desirable:
Experience with Workday implementations
