We currently have an exciting opportunity for an energetic, creative, and customer-centric HR professional to join our People and Culture team at Uniting.
Reporting to the HR Business Partnering Lead, you’ll partner with Heads of Operations and their leadership teams across our Communities portfolio. In this trusted advisory role, you’ll provide both strategic and hands-on HR support, enabling our people to deliver exceptional services to the communities we serve.
What you’ll be doing
- Partnering with senior leaders to shape and deliver people strategies aligned to Uniting’s mission.
- Coaching and influencing leaders to build capability, culture, and engagement.
- Providing expert advice on all areas of HR, from workforce planning and performance to change and employee relations.
- Leading and contributing to people initiatives that drive meaningful change and improve employee experience.
- Using data and insights to guide decisions and inform practice improvements.
- Collaborating with centres of excellence and operational teams to design solutions that make Uniting a great place to work.
We’d love to hear from you if you are:
- An experienced HR generalist with relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Skilled at navigating large, complex organisations and building strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Resilient when handling complex and challenging people matters.
- An excellent communicator with strong influencing and coaching ability.
- Able to work at pace, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Passionate about using data to shape workforce and cultural improvements.
- Be able to travel within NSW and ACT as required
