The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Support Specialist to join our friendly team. This is a hands-on role, ideal for an HR professional who is passionate about building strong working relationships, driving HR best practices, and supporting our people through every stage of their career journey at Rinnai.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Take the lead in performance management, coaching leaders to build capability and ensure consistent outcomes.
- Manage conflict resolution issues and employee disputes with professionalism, fairness, and confidentiality.
- Coordinate and enhance HR programs, including inductions, employee learning/development, rewards and recognition initiatives etc.
- Provide guidance on industrial and employee relations, including Award interpretation and compliance.
- Support and facilitate learning and development programs to promote employee growth.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including the interpretation of psychometric assessments to support hiring decisions.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and confidential HR administration with a high level of attention to detail.
- Support and promote Work Health and Safety initiatives, ensuring alignment with legislative requirements and best practice.
What You'll Bring
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A successful background and working experience within a similar role.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline is essential.
- Knowledge of WHS practices and a history of supporting a safety-focused workplace
- Solid understanding of the industrial relations landscape in Australia, with demonstrated experience in employee relations and Award interpretation.
- Strong experience in performance management, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations.
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with high attention to detail and discretion.
- Experience in end-to-end recruitment, including the facilitation and interpretation of behavioural and cognitive assessments.
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for supporting people and driving cultural improvement.
