The Role
We are seeking a Manager, People Services to lead and develop our People Services team. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for delivering efficient HR services, ensuring compliance, and supporting the broader HR team to provide seamless employee lifecycle support.
You will oversee critical compliance functions to de-risk exposure to immigration matters, maintain the HR process framework, and work collaboratively with HR and business leaders to drive continuous improvement, automation, and best practice.
This role also provides HR business partnering support to non-logistics entities such as the Linfox Private Group, Property Group, Exclusive Piano Group, and Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of People Services professionals to deliver high-quality HR operations and support
- Oversee HR compliance, policy and process frameworks, and maintain accurate employee records
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and integration across People Services, Payroll, and Talent Acquisition
- Partner with the wider HR function on critical projects including remuneration programs, policy rollouts, and compliance reporting (e.g. WGEA)
- Provide partnering support to non-logistics Linfox businesses
About You
You are a people-focused leader with deep HR operations expertise and a track record of delivering process improvements in a complex environment. You bring strong knowledge of HR principles, compliance, and systems, along with proven ability to lead teams and partner with senior stakeholders.
What You Will Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business or related discipline
- Demonstrated leadership and people management experience
- Strong HR operations background with experience in a centralised HR services model
- Working knowledge of SAP, HRIS systems, and payroll principles
- Strong compliance and process management capability
- A data-driven, improvement-focused mindset with the ability to deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment
