As Bar Supervisor, you’ll oversee the daily operations of our bar and beverage service). You’ll lead by example, ensure service excellence, and bring your mixology expertise to elevate the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver efficient, friendly, and professional beverage service across all outlets
- Create a welcoming environment that exceeds guest expectations
- Lead the bar team in crafting cocktails to standard recipes with consistency and flair
- Maintain beverage cost controls and ensure alignment with budget targets
- Conduct regular stock takes and manage bar service equipment and inventory
- Set and maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards through weekly cleaning schedules
- Ensure all mis-en-place is completed before service begins
- Train and coach staff on beverage knowledge, wine pairings, and upselling techniques
- Ensure accurate billing and compliance with hotel procedures
- Operate within liquor licensing laws and uphold RSA principles
- Support training and performance management of bar staff
- Monitor service flow, guest satisfaction, and team collaboration during peak periods
- Stay current with mixology trends, seasonal ingredients, and presentation techniques
- Lead by example in grooming, professionalism, and adherence to policies
- At least 2 years of experience in bar or hospitality supervision
- Strong mixology skills and a deep understanding of beverage service standards
- NSW RSA certified and up to date with current legislation
- Financially literate with experience in inventory, cost control, and cash handling
- Passionate about delivering high-quality service and memorable guest experiences
- Calm under pressure with a hands-on, team-first approach
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
