The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Manager to be part of a team and work together on all aspects of human resources and recruitment across our cleaning, maintenance, and construction divisions. This is a unique opportunity to work in a values-driven organisation where your contributions will have a direct impact on people, communities, and the growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes to attract, retain, and develop a diverse and engaged workforce.
- HR functions, including onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with relevant awards and legislation.
- Provide professional HR advice and support to operational managers across cleaning, maintenance, and construction.
- Foster a positive workplace culture that aligns with our values of respect, inclusion, and cultural awareness.
- Work proactively to support the career development of Indigenous employees and promote opportunities for advancement.
- Ensure compliance with the Industry Services Award and other relevant employment legislation.
- Partner with senior manager to implement strategic HR initiatives that support business growth and employee engagement.
About You:
- Previous HR management experience, ideally within industries such as cleaning, maintenance, construction, or related sectors ( preferred and will be highly considered )
- A strong background in recruitment with a proven ability to attract and retain talent.
- Passionate about supporting Indigenous employment and community outcomes.
- Excellent knowledge of Australian workplace laws, awards, and best practice HR principles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and able to manage competing priorities.
