What you'll do
Provide expert advice and recommendations on appropriate management and resolution of employment matters including employee grievances, attendance management, performance and conduct matters.
Support case management activities relating to the management of complex conduct and performance or health management matters.
Undertake research and analysis to provide best practice, contemporary advice that aligns to the Queensland public sector employment framework.
Establish effective working relationships with Department of Health clients through the provision of timely, high-quality authoritative advice and support.
Assist in compiling the Department of Health's quarterly Conduct and Performance (CaPE) report for the Public Sector Commission (PSC).
About you
We are searching for someone with:
Demonstrated ability to provide advice relating to public sector legislation, directives, policies, agreements and relevant employment frameworks that apply to Queensland Health.
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prepare and present high-level advice documents, formal submissions and reports.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment to resolve complex and sensitive employment issues.
Highly developed analytical skills.
Ability to complete work within timeframes, manage competing priorities and ensure attention to detail.
