In Home Care Educator

We are a family of four with My Husband and Myself and two children. Our son is 3.5 year old and our daughter is 10 months. We also have a ragdoll named Polar. We are looking for an early childcare educator to care for our daughter within our home. She had a rough start and spent the first 4 weeks in the NICU. Through lots of love and early intervention therapies she has made terrific progress.

We have a bus stop near our house that connects to Hornsby Train Station and parking available on site. Care will be for 2 days per week (16 hours per week) on Tuesday and Friday, however hours may increase in the future as I plan to study for my Masters in 2026. Our little one is a sweet baby who is an easy temperament. She loves music, listening to books being read to her and having a deep conversation. She is mixed fed by breastfeeding and bottles. She is on purees with her favourite foods including avocado and banana. She is currently receiving lots of early intervention through NDIS and we need someone who can follow her home programs from her therapists as well as bring some joy and fun into her world!

* Be 20 years or older * Hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education (or higher, e.g. teaching degree up to primary school level) * Have a valid Working With Children Check * Hold current First Aid & CPR certificates * Provide a National Police Check (dated within the last 6 months) * Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident * Student and temporary visa holders are not eligible What You'll Receive * Starting wage: $36 per hour + 12% superannuation (for care of one child) * Rates increase based on the number of children in care * Full insurance coverage (workers' compensation & public liability) * Supported and approved by the NSW Department of Education * Work one-on-one with families in a home-based setting
