About the role
Reporting to the Occupational Health Advisor, this is a full-time permanent role, based in Burswood at our Perth Office. This position is responsible for assisting in the coordination and delivery of effective injury management, workers compensation, and return-to-work programs across the business. The role also contributes to the development and implementation of proactive health initiatives, including ergonomics, manual handling education, and broader health and wellness programs.
Duties
Assist in the coordination and management of Redpath Australia’s injury management and return to work requirements for the business
Liaising with medical, injury management, rehabilitation and insurance providers/case managers
Assist in the management of workers compensation claims process
Assist in maintaining the Solv Injury Management database
Administration of health and wellbeing programs
Review and assess pre-employment medicals for suitability
Assist in maintaining injury statistics reporting on a weekly/monthly basis
Skills and experience
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
Formal qualifications in a health-related field (desired)
Relevant qualifications or experience in injury management, return to work or health and wellbeing programs
Experience with scheduling medical appointments and reviewing pre-employment medicals
Clear communication skills with the ability to work well with others in a team environment as well as working autonomously
Proven capacity to prioritise and execute tasks efficiently in high-pressure environments while maintaining high levels of attention to detail
Prior experience with workcover and technological management systems: (Solv, Workcover Databases)
