We have an immediate new opportunity for experienced labourers, handymen, or tradespeople who are looking to diversify their skills in a new industry.
This is a hands-on role where your skills make a real impact - on the job site, for the client, and for our team.
As an Installation Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering the final—and most important—step of our service: installing and building high-quality equipment at client sites across Australia and New Zealand.
From assembling components to ensuring everything is installed to specifications, you’ll be hands-on in bringing our custom solutions to life.
This role is ideal for someone who’s proactive, dependable, and takes real ownership of the delivery of their work.
THE ROLE
As a key member of our Installation Team, your role will be hands-on and varied. You will play a crucial part in the installation of spray booths and associated equipment across Australia - and occasionally in New Zealand.
- Travel to client sites to install and assemble spray booths from the ground up.
- Construct structures using sandwich panels and fit structural components.
- Install components, machinery and ductwork to suit.
- Install mechanical and electrical components (with support from licensed trades where required).
- Seal cabin panels, joints, and equipment to ensure airtight construction.
- Read and interpret drawings and layout plans.
- Measure, cut, and fit structural components to suit.
- Manual handling duties.
- Operate hand and power tools for drilling, cutting, and assembly work.
- Work at heights and roof level.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with contractors and client trades when required.
- Maintain a clean and organised worksite.
- Complete job documentation - site paperwork, photo records, etc.

THE SKILLS
We're seeking practical, hands-on individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy building and assembling quality structures. The ideal candidate will have:
- A genuine interest in building and hands-on work.
- Minimum of 12 months trade or construction experience (preferred).
- Ability to take accurate measurements and follow detailed instructions.
- Confident use of power tools.
- Strong problem solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Experience operating plant equipment such as Forklifts and EWP's (highly desirable).
- Comfortable working at heights and on roofs.
- A positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
THE APPLICANT
- Physically fit, quick learning, and reliable.
- Previous experience with building, installation, mechanical assembly, or a similar hands-on trade.
- Willingness to travel regularly for extended periods of time.
- Flexible to travel across Australia and New Zealand (core requirement of position).
- A proactive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Works well in a team environment and uses safe working practices.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- Holds a valid driver's license and able to provide license history and demerit point extract upon request.
- Current Forklift, EWP, and Working at Heights training (preferred but not essential as training will be provided for the right candidate).
- Holds a current passport, or will and able to obtain if required.
