What You’ll Do:
Lead and manage comprehensive internal audits focused on technology risks, cybersecurity, cloud environment, data privacy, digital transformation, telecom network and IT operations.
Collaborate with senior technology and business leaders to identify risks, evaluate controls, and recommend practical improvements.
Drive the execution of audit plans that align with Optus’s strategic objectives and evolving tech landscape.
Provide valuable insights and recommendation to strengthen governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
Clearly and effectively communicate audit findings to executive stakeholders through both verbal presentations and written reports.
Embrace Agile methodologies to efficiently deliver audits and manage stakeholder engagement.
Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to ensure timely implementation of corrective actions and risk mitigation strategies.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in technology audit practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience (at least 3 years) in technology-focused internal audit or IT risk management, ideally within complex and regulated environments.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering or a related field
Strong understanding of emerging technologies, cybersecurity frameworks, cloud environment, artificial intelligence, data governance, control framework and standards (COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, ITIL, Agile etc)
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication skill, problem solving mindset and analytical ability with high attention to detail.
A proactive, curious mindset with a passion for driving continuous improvement.
Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, CIA, ITIL, Agile or CRISC are highly desirable.
