About the Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and detail-oriented Assistant, Internal Communications to join our Clients & Markets team. This role is perfect for a strong, natural communicator who is looking to launch their career in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, delivering high-quality, impactful content and communications that support employee education, engagement, collaboration and inclusion.
This is a permanent position, with an immediate start. We are open to the successful candidate being based in any major Australian city (Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney).
Key responsibilities
Internal communication: help drive employee engagement and awareness by creating and distributing impactful, multi-channel content on a wide range of firm-related topics, services and business-critical updates.
Internal stakeholder engagement: work with colleagues across the firm to understand their internal communications needs, advise on the approach, and manage their requests to successful completion.
Project and campaign coordination and delivery: assist in the planning and execution of internal communications projects that effectively educate and engage our people and enhance our collaborative, motivated and inclusive culture.
Internal communications channels management: maintain our key delivery channels on a day-to-day basis to help ensure best practice by monitoring usage and engagement, maintaining channels guidelines, and identifying areas for improving usability.
Reporting and analysis: monitor internal communications engagement by using our reporting tools to track metrics - open rates, click-throughs, likes, and comments - to assess performance and recommend relevant improvements.
CRM/marketing automation support: support the execution of external content marketing strategies as requested.
What we’re looking for
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop rapport at all levels.
Familiarity with digital tools (awareness of Microsoft 365 platforms, including Outlook email and SharePoint intranet, would be beneficial but not essential).
Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in a corporate and/or internal communications environment would be beneficial but not essential.
