As an Investment Book of Record (IBOR) Vice President in the Investment Middle Office Services (IMOS) team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering premier service and ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of IBOR to our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to liaise with clients and financial organizations to resolve issues and enhance client satisfaction.
As a Vice President in the IBOR team, you will be responsible for providing a single, accurate investment portfolio for investment activities and dynamic views for front-office functions. The IBOR team acts as a processing engine, capable of reflecting every type of business event affecting the investment portfolio. Your key responsibility will be to ensure premier service delivery and resolve client issues effectively.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the Global/Regional IBOR team and act as the client-facing point of escalation.
- Participate in and implement the continued IMOS global strategy.
- Oversee daily operational activities essential to client reporting (IBOR).
- Manage team oversight, including work allocation, capacity management, and talent management.
- Build solid relationships with Client teams, including Front Office, Performance & Risk, and Compliance.
- Work with global IBOR teams to achieve 100% timeliness and accuracy in a ‘follow the sun’ model.
- Partner with Relationship Management to lead client service and due diligence meetings.
- Influence and build strong relationships across multiple levels of the organization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with technology, service, product, and operations teams to manage IBOR service delivery. Experience with Reconciliations and transaction lifecycle management.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Demonstrated leadership experience in process, risk, and control within Investment Operations, including managing change.
- Excellent client-facing skills and communication style, comfortable dealing with key clients.
- Proven ability to lead teams across multiple locations.
- Extensive understanding of OTC instruments, Exchange Traded Derivatives, Fixed Income Securities, Equity products, and other financial instruments.
- Track record of successfully working to deadlines with accountability for independent workload.
- Experience in Investment Operations (Trades, Cash, and Reconciliations).
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address operational and technical issues.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to develop relationships across stakeholders, including senior business executives.
- Ability to be flexible, meet tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work, and meet client expectations.
