About the Opportunity
As an IT Program Manager in the Hosting Team, part of the Technology, Devices and Integration Stream within SDPR, you will lead and deliver a state-wide digital health record infrastructure solution that supports the program’s lifecycle across NSW Health. This critical leadership role ensures ICT/digital projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
This role offers the opportunity to manage complex and high-impact digital programs that enable better patient care through improved data and infrastructure. You will work across multiple health organisations and vendors, using tools such as project management frameworks, risk tracking systems, and reporting platforms to drive delivery outcomes.
In this role, you will:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of ICT/digital initiatives aligned to SDPR's strategic goals
Oversee the planning and execution of large-scale digital health projects, from business case to go-live
Develop risk management strategies and ensure benefit realisation and continuous improvement
Engage with senior stakeholders and vendors to ensure alignment and collaboration across the health system
Manage a high-performing project team to deliver outcomes in a fast-paced, complex environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has significant experience leading large ICT or digital transformation programs in a complex, matrixed organisation
Brings strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and communication skills to influence outcomes
Has a proven ability to manage high-performing multifunctional teams and embed a positive workplace culture
Holds relevant tertiary qualifications in ICT, project management or related fields
Has a demonstrated record of delivering digital health or large infrastructure projects in a public sector or health setting
