We are looking for a full-time experienced Joiner to join our team.
Responsibilities:
· Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to understand and all material and construction requirements
· Determine all materials needed for each job
· Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material required
· Cut and shape building materials (timber shuttering, fibreglass, steel or other materials) according to measurements
· Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
· Layout floorings, roofing or drywalls ensuring they are levelled and compatible
· Operate machinery for detailed joinery
· Assemble joinery cabinets
· Assemble and fasten various materials to erect a framework
· Install structures and fixtures (including cabinetry in bathrooms or kitchens)
· May apply coat on kitchen furniture
Qualifications:
· Must have at least three years of joinery or carpentry experience.
· Enjoy technical works.
· Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
· The above-average sensitivity of touch.
· Customer service and leadership skills.
· High level of organisational skills.
· Operate & perform maintenance on equipment and power tools.
· Demonstrated positive attitude and teamwork abilities.
· Able to work effectively with and without supervision.
· Well versed in maintenance, cleaning and debris removal task.
SALARY: $60,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation
