Joinery Draftsperson / CAD Operator

We're a tight-knit team at GoFlatpacks QLD, and we're on the lookout for a Joinery Draftsperson / CAD Operator to join us in our Molendinar workshop.
This is a full-time role best suited to someone who’s flexible, detail-focused, and ready to jump into a variety of tasks beyond just drafting. While your primary responsibility will be producing detailed drawings and CNC-ready files using Mozaik, we’re also looking for someone who’s comfortable wearing a few hats — depending on workload.
Your main responsibilities:
- Use Mozaik to prepare final joinery drawings for client approval
- Generate accurate CNC files for our production team
- Liaise with in-house sales staff and clients to finalise job details
- Prepare material and hardware lists for ordering
- Assist in other tasks around the business where needed (we’re a small team, so versatility is key!)
Requirements:
- Experience with Mozaik or other CAD/CNC software (e.g. Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD, Microvellum)
- Strong background in cabinet making / joinery
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience in site measuring
- Hands-on time in the factory or workshop
- Familiarity with cabinet assembly
