Position Overview
As a Junior Squad Member, you'll be the heart and soul of our cafe, ensuring that every customer's experience is filled with flavour and smiles. You'll be mixing, brewing, and serving up delicious drinks and delectable delights with a side of enthusiasm.
Responsibilities:
- Brew-tiful Beverage Wizardry: Craft a variety of caffeinated masterpieces, from lattes to cappuccinos, and serve them with a touch of creativity.
- Pastry Picasso: Handle an array of pastries, sandwiches, and desserts with an artistic flair, ensuring they are both visually appealing and scrumptious.
- Customer Happiness Ambassador: Create a welcoming atmosphere and provide top-notch customer service. Be the friendly face that brightens up everyone's day.
- Cleanliness Crusader: Maintain a spotless cafe by cleaning and sanitising equipment, tables, and the serving area.
- Cash Handling: Accurately process customer payments and handle cash register duties with precision.
- Team Player: Collaborate with your colleagues to keep the cafe running smoothly, and assist with any additional tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- A passion for coffee, culinary creations, and making people smile.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and stay cool under pressure.

This position would be suitable for a student or early school leaver looking for weekend employment opportunities on a casual or part time basis.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 20 per week
