Some of your daily duties in this role would be the following
- Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure all kitchen areas, including equipment, utensils, and workspaces, are kept clean and sanitized.
- Assist with Food Preparation: Support chefs by performing basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and grating ingredients.
- Dishwashing: Operate commercial dishwashers and perform manual cleaning to wash dishes, pots, pans and cutlery.
- Stock Management: Assist with the rotation and storage of ingredients to maintain freshness and comply with food safety standards.
- Waste Management: Properly dispose of kitchen waste and adhere to recycling protocols.
- Support Kitchen Operations: Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: From $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 38 per week
