About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchenhand to join our busy cafe team in St Leonards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Chefs with food preparation and handling
- Unpack and organise daily deliveries
- Maintain the highest cleaning and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen
- Complete thorough kitchen cleaning after daily service
- Manage daily waste disposal and recycling
- Support kitchen operations during busy periods
Essential Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Physical fitness for standing long periods and lifting
