- Ongoing full time Land Services Officer (LSO) position
- Salary starting from $99,938 + super
- LLS Advisory & Technical Grade 5 (equiv. Clerk Grade 5/6)
- Locations available include Tenterfield, Glen Innes and Inverell.
We’re looking for someone to join our team. We need an experienced and highly motivated professional who wants to work as part of a larger team and to deliver accurate and contextual advice and development of certificates for approval under the Land Management (Native Vegetation) Code 2018. What you need to do this role;
- Demonstrated experience engaging and forming strong relationships with landholders
- Demonstrated ability to understand and accurately interpret legislation
- Demonstrated interest/curiosity in native vegetation and desirable that you are familiar with the use of botanical keys
- Demonstrated ability to follow processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience and/or qualifications in Land Management and/or Natural Resource Management
- Demonstrated experience in using Client Relationship databases and ArcGIS or equivalent platform
- Project management skills including reporting, planning and monitoring
