About the Role
Busy Bees at Mermaid Waters is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional early learning experiences while guiding and mentoring a team of educators.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the educational program and daily operations of your room
- Supporting and mentoring educators and trainees
- Creating responsive and engaging environments for children
- Building strong partnerships with families and communities
- Ensuring compliance with the EYLF, NQF, and Busy Bees policies
What You’ll Need
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)
- Working with Children Check (Employee – QLD Blue Card)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training
- Proven experience in leading a room or mentoring others
- Strong knowledge of curriculum planning and critical reflection
