We're seeking a dedicated Leading Hand Fitter to oversee and execute mechanical maintenance activities for our surface mobile equipment fleet. Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability and optimal performance on site.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate mechanical maintenance for surface mobile equipment
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Support and lead maintenance teams to meet operational targets
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of equipment issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement and asset reliability initiatives
About you
- Australian recognised Heavy Duty or Mobile Plant Trade qualification
- Demonstrated experience in a mechanical supervisory or leading-hand role within mining or heavy industry
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- A strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- 5 years minimum post trade experience
- Previous experience in Komatsu and Caterpillar fleets
- Holding a valid WA drivers license is mandatory;
- Tickets and certificates such as Apply First Aid, Crane, Dogging, EWP and Forklift are advantageous.
- Knowledge and application of relevant statutory obligations
- SAP experience is desirable
