We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Learn to Swim Teacher to join our team. As a member of Donald Swimming, you'll be responsible for teaching children of all ages and skill levels, ensuring they not only learn to swim but also have fun in the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach swimming lessons to children of varying ages and abilities, following our structured curriculum.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages children to enjoy and improve their swimming skills.
- Monitor and assess the progress of each student, providing feedback and encouragement.
- Ensure a high standard of safety and supervision during lessons.
- Maintain strong communication with parents regarding their child’s progress.
- Be a positive role model and support the overall mission of Donald Swimming.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in teaching swimming (preferably in a learn-to-swim or kids’ swimming environment).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with children.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain).
- Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Austswim Teacher of swimming and water safety or similar qualification (or willingness to obtain)
- A passion for swimming and helping children succeed.
- Availability to work afternoons Monday to Friday from 3:00pm, and daytime during school terms.
