Leave and Roster Clerk
We are seeking a Leave and Roster Clerk to join our team at Brisbane Airport on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday. In this role, you will ensure all contract rosters are regularly reviewed and maintained in alignment with approved labour budgets and models. You will also support operational delivery teams and Corporate Services with award compliance, reporting and Kronos system management.
Key Responsibilities
- Process approved changes to contract rosters, including analysing cost and variation impacts.
- Communicate with management and line managers regarding contract exceptions, rostering issues, trends, and Kronos reporting.
- Review staffing requests and terminations to ensure alignment with operational needs before approving recruitment activities.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with BAC and Trident Group managers.
- Provide collaborative support to resolve site-based resourcing issues.
- Work with People & Culture, Recruitment, and Payroll teams to support accurate and timely onboarding and compliance with credential requirements.
- Previous experience in rostering and scheduling within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- At least intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent problem-solving and planning abilities, with a focus on meeting business priorities.
- Confidence in interpreting and applying Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Eligibility and ability to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card), which includes passing a background check and providing a negative drug and alcohol test result in accordance with airport security regulations
