We have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Secretary to join our Government Public & Regulatory team in Melbourne working with Katherine Whittemore and Adam Cunynghame.
About the role and the team
The group foster a genuine, collaborative, and cohesive team culture. The national team have been acknowledged many times for their commitment to exceptional client experience, technical excellence and to the people who make the team what it is.
This is a crucial role that will provide high-level administrative support to the partners and wider team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- File management across a busy litigation practice.
- Monthly billing (generating prebills, making necessary amendments, and finalising prebills).
- Assisting with the preparation of legal documents.
- Client reporting and compliance.
- Diary and inbox management.
- Ad hoc administrative tasks.
The team are open to candidates seeking permanent full-time or part-time work. It will suit a secretary who is looking for a diverse and challenging range of work in a supportive team.

About you
- Prior administration experience in a law firm is highly regarded but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proactive approach to work.
- Highly organised and able to manage competing deadlines and priorities.
