The Asana Marketing team is responsible for fueling business growth and building a brand customers love. We create campaigns and content to attract new accounts and inspire current ones to grow with us, ensuring every customer realizes the full potential of our platform.
As a Lifecycle Marketing Manager focusing on onboarding and adoption, you will lead the development and execution of data-driven email marketing strategies that guide new users through their Asana journey and drive long-term engagement. You will create and optimize customer email strategies that leverage personalization and AI to help our customers master Asana.
This role is based in our Sydney office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Mondays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you'll achieve:
- Lead the development and execution of personalized onboarding email sequences that drive user activation and long term product adoption
- Innovate and experiment on how to support users in adopting Asana AI features in partnership with product, product marketing and education
- Partner with creative to create compelling content and visuals that drive engagement and conversion
- Bring best practice and execute marketing campaigns with stakeholder teams that support user adoption of Asana
- Streamline and optimize email processes, including leveraging AI and automations
- Analyze and share insights on campaign performance
About you
- 5+ years of digital lifecycle or email marketing experience, ideally with some experience in B2B SaaS and a focus on product adoption strategies
- Strategic and data driven with a proven track record of driving measurable business impact
- Expert knowledge of email marketing tools (Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo)
- End-to-end email marketing process expertise, with strong project management skills
- Ability to leverage AI for personalization and optimization and curiosity to explore new technology
- Excellence in cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments
- Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making

We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between 136,000 AUD - 163,000 AUD. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
