We have a great opportunity for a Logistics Officer to join our dedicated team based onsite at Parklea Correctional Centre.
ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE
The Logistics Officer oversees daily warehouse and logistical operations, including meal deliveries, stock control, stock rotation, and overall inventory management.
In your new role, you will:
- Physically and electronically receive and unload supplies delivered to the warehouse
- Open boxes, creates and other containers to ensure good received are in line with the purchase order
- Assist in maintaining quality of stock received by assessing it at the time of delivery – 3-way checking
- Delivery of meals and stock inside the centre and to inmate
- Physically check outgoing orders
- Sort and place stock on racks, shelves or in bins according to
- Requirements within the warehouse and your designated area
ABOUT YOU
A Logistics Officer with strong time management and communication skills who excels in a collaborative team environment and effectively prioritises tasks to ensure seamless warehouse operations at Parklea Correctional Centre. Who is available to work between 6:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., including a rotating 28-day roster, and may also be required to work on weekends.
To be successful, you will:
- Hold a current High-Risk Forklift license (essential)
- Hold a Driver's License (essential)
- Have previous warehouse experience (desirable but not essential)
- Gain and retain all police/security clearances required within our industry
- Safe food handling certification, or ability to obtain and maintain
- Pass any required health assessments.
- Provide proof of double vaccination against Covid-19 with a vaccine recognised in Australia.
