Reporting to the TAS Operations Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing sales pipelines, and supporting the smooth operation of the Launceston Depot. You will build strong relationships with customers, promote lubricant sales, and work closely with depot and sales managers to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient outcomes across all areas of the business.
A successful person in this role will have a natural drive for sales, with the confidence to engage customers and convert opportunities, while also possessing a strong operational mindset to manage logistics, stock control, and warehouse processes. Tasks and Responsibilities:
Provide professional customer service and manage customer orders including counter sales
Build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying new sales opportunities
Promote lubricant sales and support depot operations
Manage stock accurately, including receipting, dispatching, and reporting variances
Ensure compliance with safety, financial, and company procedures, including end-of-month processes
Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business goals
Warehouse management duties
Direct customer engagement, site visits and deliveries
Your skills and experience include:
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or depot/warehouse operations (preferred)
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
Computer literacy, with experience using CRM systems or similar
Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving skills
Commitment to safety and compliance procedures
Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
Forklift Licence (Preferred – Lowes can assist in obtaining if required)
