Due to growth within our business, we have an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Fitter & Turner to join our team based at Stapylton. Reporting directly to our Maintenance Manager, you will need to be a strong communicator, organized, self-driven & motivated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of overall equipment efficiency.
- Ensure daily and weekly completion of assigned maintenance tasks.
- Assist control in the workshop area and maintain a safe work area.
- Ensure all maintenance work is carried out meeting safety requirements and conforms to all relevant regulations.
- Have high urgency in breakdown situations to keep production running
To be successful in this role you must:
- Have a minimum of 5 years well-rounded experience as a Maintenance Fitter & Turner or in servicing of machinery.
- Be trade qualified in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Have experience in preventative maintenance, machine installation, and breakdowns.
Key skills & knowledge:
- Excellent organisation skills - ability to prioritise.
- Problem solving - able to identify maintenance challenges, implement solutions and make informed decisions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to convey messages clearly and engage with stakeholders.
- Ability to keep track of and report on activities.
