About the Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Leading Hand to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. In this role, you will report to the Mechanical Supervisor and work on a 2:2 roster (day and night shift).
Your focus will be on managing fixed plant maintenance activities, including supervising personnel and ensuring statutory compliance.
Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing faults and breakdowns, as well as inspecting tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
• Using the maintenance management system to track, schedule, and enhance activities.
• Coordinating unplanned maintenance while ensuring compliance with schedules and site requirements.
• Optimising mechanical maintenance processes, including inspections, work orders, and documentation.
• Leading and supporting maintenance teams through technical guidance, SOP development, and resource management.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, company policies, and HSEC standards.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have strong mechanical maintenance experience in the mining industry, including expertise in surface and underground fixed plant.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

• A mechanical trade qualification.
• Hold or can obtain Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets.
• A current C-class manual driver’s licence.
• Basic proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
