About the opportunity
This position is required to ensure the efficient management of infrastructure, plant, equipment, operating costs, and resources for Mercy Health, Northern Region areas of responsibility (as listed above).
Key responsibilities include;
- Asset lifecycle management,
- Developing, implementing and managing operating budgets
- Overseeing Technology One (Mercy Health’s CMMS)
- Allocating corrective and preventative repairs to the team (based on priorities and available resources),
- Leading the team, and
- Providing regular reports to the Management of each site.

To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in Facilities Management, Building Services, or a related discipline, or trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Hydraulic Services or relevant experience
- Current unrestricted drivers licence
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
