The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Technician to join the Turboprops team based at Adelaide Airport to work on our TPE331 engines. Your duties will include:
- Perform heavy engine maintenance on gas turbine engines
- Work in accordance with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) documentation and airworthiness requirements
- Utilise ERP and maintenance worksheets to accurately record job progress
- Identify and act on opportunities for improvement
- Maintain a clean & tidy work area free of foreign object damage (FOD)
- Take all reasonable steps to ensure own safety and the safety of others
- Actively participate as a team member to achieve team goals and deliver to the customer.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A passion and drive to deliver to keep their customers flying
- TPE331 engine maintenance experience
- Comprehensive engine overhaul knowledge and experience
- Demonstrable knowledge of engine strip, detailed inspection and assembly
- Experience in carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance work in accordance with OEM documentation
- Experience working within airworthiness rules and regulatory requirements
- Experience working with both manual and automated tools and equipment
- High level of accuracy and the ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Machining and general engineering knowledge an advantage.
