What’s the role?
We’re looking for a manager – Compliance Incidents to join our team and help assess situations that may need to be reported to regulators like ASIC, BCCC or APRA. You’ll investigate what happened, figure out if reporting is required, and help draft the official breach report where necessary.
This is a great opportunity to build wide-ranging expertise in financial services law with full support from subject matter experts and a tailored training program.
This is a 12-month fixed term role based in Sydney, with full-time hours and hybrid work arrangements available.
What do I need?
- Strong analytical thinking and sound judgement in tricky situations
- A strategic mindset, balanced with close attention to detail
- Experience reviewing compliance incidents or making risk-based calls
- Ability to work collaboratively with different teams to investigate issues
- A genuine interest in privacy, lending, conduct obligations, and other financial services laws
- Curiosity and commitment to develop deeper expertise across compliance regimes over time
