In partnership with the Regional Managers Home Lending, Branch’s and Sales Excellence team, you will embed a consistent rhythm of performance, capability uplift, and customer-first conversations in a virtual setting
You’ll make an impact by:
You will shape and lead the execution of Great Southern Bank’s virtual lending model—balancing sales outcomes with seamless service, and digital enablement with human connection. You will scale this channel sustainably, ensuring the right technology, rhythms, and performance culture are in place to deliver results.
Deliver the design, execution, and scaling of the Virtual Sales channel in alignment with enterprise lending strategy.
- Define and embed channel workflows, technology usage, and customer journeys that support frictionless virtual lending.
- Partner with Credit, Digital, Operations, and Risk to ensure the virtual channel delivers compliant, high-quality outcomes.
- Monitor channel health, identify bottlenecks, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance conversion and experience.
Build a high-performing virtual sales team with a strong culture of accountability, ownership, and customer focus.
- Drive performance against lending volume, conversion, and quality targets through structured coaching, 1:1s, and performance reviews.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of new team members, ensuring consistent capability uplift.
- Champion a strong sales rhythm and performance discipline in a remote or hybrid working model.
Ensure all virtual interactions deliver a seamless, personalised experience while maintaining digital-first efficiency.
- Embed a customer-first sales approach focused on needs discovery, solution design, and trust-based relationship building.
- Monitor service levels, call quality, and customer feedback to identify opportunities to improve service design and execution.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Digital teams to align messaging, campaigns, and experience delivery.
Ensure all virtual sales activities meet regulatory and compliance obligations, including responsible lending and data privacy.
- Monitor application quality, identify rework trends, and drive continuous improvement to lift first-time-right outcomes.
- Partner with Risk and Compliance to ensure emerging risks in the virtual model are identified, assessed, and mitigated.

To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Proven leading sales teams in virtual or digitally enabled environments, preferably within financial services or lending.
- Deep understanding of digital engagement models, customer lifecycle management, and data-led sales processes.
- Proven track record of delivering results in remote or hybrid team structures.
- Experience in implementing and optimising virtual operating models and workflows.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to drive performance outcomes while delivering exceptional service.
- Extensive experience in complex stakeholder engagement
