Spare Parts Inventory & Sales Role

As a manufacturer, we design, produce and distribute diesel and gas generators, air compressors, solar products, lighting towers, as well as providing sales, after-sales and warranty support.
The Role
A rare opportunity has come up for a talented individual who can help boost spare parts sales, as well as play an active role in the inventory management process, providing essential support backing up new and existing sales product ranges.
Working knowledge of Mandarin is essential for this role!
The ideal candidate must have proven history in inventory management, excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a can-do attitude.
A background as a mechanic, roles involving vehicle and/or truck maintenance will be viewed very favourably.
Duties & Responsibilities
The ideal candidate should be able to:
1. Maintain communication with internal team members, as well as with points of contact for supply and manufacture in our overseas head office
2. Liaise with the Factory to obtain updates on stock dispatch statuses and ensure that deliveries are completed on time
3. Ensure that the Inventory Management System’s records are updated and maintained on a daily basis
4. Prepare Invoices, and ensure a high-level of accuracy as to its contents
5. Follow up with payments by collaborating with Accounts and ensure that these are processed in a timely manner
6. Prepare any other documents to ensure that sales are properly completed
7. Liaise with Logistics, Warehouse and Accounts team members to facilitate stock coming into and dispatching from the warehouse
8. Other duties assigned by managers from time to time
Key Competencies
The following competencies will be highly regarded:
1. The ability to undertake multiple tasks with a minimum level of direct supervision
2. The ability to analyse and plan to identify issues as well as convey relevant solutions to the other team members
3. Prior experience in stock inventory management will be essential
4. Experience in motor vehicle spare parts and/or home/outdoor retail experience (such as Bunnings) will be highly considered
We also provide company lunches every Tuesday as well as casual Fridays, in addition to functions throughout the year for events such as staff birthdays, Easter, Melbourne Cup and Christmas
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
