The Marine Service Technician inspect, repair and monitor marine engines, electronics and internal boat systems.
The Marine Service Technician will have industry certified qualifications, experience and a strong understanding of servicing outboard and sterndrive engines, boat accessory fitting, marine electronics, as well as problem diagnostics and offering solutions.
- Full time permanent role (3 month probation period)
- 38 hours per week + overtime as required
- Monday- Thursday 08:30-4:30pm Friday 08:00-4:30pm
- People management (Apprentices)
Responsibilities:
- Service, repair, maintain and upgrade marine inboard, outboard and stern engines and vessels for all brands and models.
- Diagnose faults and provide resolutions.
- Electrical upgrades, repairs and maintenance jobs and or new fit outs or internal boat system works as per customer requirements.
- Develop scope of works for all jobs & support cost estimating / quoting.
- People management - Lead and support the team of apprentices.
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Marine technician qualifications
- Experience in similar position or same industry
- Drivers licence
- Boat licence
- Forklift licence (Preferred)
