That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for a Market Insights Manager who can turn raw data, cultural trends, and traveller behaviours into compelling insights that guide strategy, fuel creativity, and keep Contiki ahead of the curve.

This is more than just a research role, it’s about storytelling, influence, and vision. You'll work closely with the Head of Brand and our global Contiki team to represent the voice of the traveller and help shape our brand, marketing, and product strategies.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Know the Traveller
    • Track how Gen Z travels, dreams, spends, and decides from TikTok trends to booking behaviours
    • Monitor shifts in global youth culture, competitor activity, and broader industry trends
    • Act as the voice of the traveller in key strategic conversations helping to fuel the engine of product design
  • Lead Research & Analysis
    • Own and deliver end-to-end qualitative and quantitative research, including surveys, focus groups, journey mapping, and brand trackers
    • Analyse and distil data into clear, meaningful insights
    • Spot trends early and translate them into opportunities for brand, product, and marketing
    • Present insights through reports, decks, and workshops that inspire action
  • Activate Insights Across the Business
    • Develop customer personas and journey maps
    • Bring research to life through compelling storytelling and visualisation
    • Inform creative briefs, CX strategy, and marketing campaigns with clear, actionable direction
  • Champion Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Be the go-to insights partner across brand, product, content, and digital
    • Represent the voice of the traveller in planning and strategic conversations
    • Influence business decisions with evidence and empathy
  • Trend Spotting & Innovation
    • Maintain an evolving library of research, trends, and cultural commentary
    • Explore new research tools, platforms, and methodologies
    • Share forward-thinking insights that challenge assumptions and expand perspectives

What you bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in market research, insights, or strategy (ideally in youth-focused, lifestyle or travel industries)
  • Strong background in both quantitative and qualitative methods
  • Experience launching or managing platforms like Qualtrics, Alchemer, or similar
  • Confidence in turning data into actionable, emotionally resonant insights
  • An eye for emerging trends and the ability to translate them into commercial or creative ideas
  • Passion for youth culture, digital innovation, and global travel
  • A collaborative, curious mindset ready to work closely with senior stakeholders across the business
