Taverner Research is a dynamic and independent market research company based in Sydney with call-centres in Surry Hills and Wollongong. We are looking for bright, energetic people to join our interviewing team in Surry Hills.
You must have a strong eye for detail and a professional can-do attitude, to interview members of the public from all walks of life.
Whilst there is no selling involved in this role (you are only asking people questions on behalf of our clients), candidates must possess the ability to persuade respondents to hear them out and have an inquisitive nature..
In addition, you must be fluent in reading and speaking English, have a clear speaking ability, basic computer and typing skills, good listening skills, and be available for start immediately.
Call-centre hours can vary depending on project needs, generally starting 3.30pm or 4pm and ending at 8.00pm or 8.30pm Monday to Friday (sometimes starting earlier and ending later depending on which state we are calling or how busy we are). Our Saturday shifts run from 11am-3pm and we occasionally run shifts on Sundays depending on project needs.
You must be available for a MINIMUM four shifts per week which will likely include Friday (and sometimes Saturday).
People who have experience in CATI (computer assisted telephone interviewing), face to face, and/or market research focus group recruiting are encouraged to apply.
While experience is always a bonus, it is not a requirement, as we will provide full training for the right candidates - Training is paid after completion of 12 hours of work (3 shifts).
Pay rate for trainees is $31.17/hr rising to $34.86/hr after experience is gained (usually in 2 weeks or 50hrs, whichever comes first).
