The Role
As a Telephone Debt Collection Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in resolving customer accounts while working within a supportive, team-driven environment. It requires you to be available to work at least 3 shifts per week and 20 hours per week regardless of your personal schedules e.g., exams, school, extra-curricular commitments, public holidays.
Your responsibilities will include:
✅ Handling customer interactions with empathy, professionalism, and patience to find effective solutions
✅ Managing emotional and high-pressure situations with quick thinking and adaptability
✅ Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet team goals
✅ Negotiating payment plans with customers to resolve outstanding debts
What We’re Looking For
This role requires commitment and reliability. To be eligible, you must:
✅ Work a minimum of 3 shifts per week (Note: We are closed on public holidays and weekends.)
✅ Be available for at least 20 hours per week
✅ Finish at 8:30 pm Monday–Thursday, if required
✅ Start at 7:30 am Monday–Friday, if required
✅ Work Mondays (minimum 5-hour shift) and *Fridays until 5 pm (minimum 5-hour shift)
✅ Must be able to COMMIT TO 3 SHIFTS & 20 HOURS per week regardless of Exams, Busy Period with your own stuff e.g., school, & Public Holiday – as we close on public holidays.!
✅ Commit to at least 18 months in this role – or longer!
✅ Work on-site in Mulgrave (799 Springvale Road – South-Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne)
