About the Role
Are you passionate about storytelling and crafting compelling content that leaves a lasting impression? Babcock is looking for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to bring our marketing and communications projects to life in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of Babcock’s strategic marketing initiatives, writing high-quality content for brochures, case studies, award submissions, website copy, and social media. You’ll play a pivotal part in enhancing brand exposure, building credibility, and celebrating the achievements of our business and its people.
From managing merchandise orders to coordinating media monitoring and overseeing our annual advertising schedule, you’ll be involved in a diverse range of projects that keep our marketing efforts running smoothly. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, ensuring all marketing collateral aligns with our corporate brand and campaign strategies.

To be successful, you will bring:
- Australian Citizen with a Defence Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain).
- Previous experience in a similar role. (experience in the Defence, national security or foreign affairs, or trade sectors is advantageous).
- Degree in Marketing & Communications, public relations, journalism or similar fields.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate key messages appropriately to a variety of audiences.
- Ability to navigate through and solve complex situations and problems to achieve best outcomes, using a creative mindset.
