We are looking for a prospective fitter apprentice or a person recently out of school, who love all things mechanical, to join our Australian team working out of our Dandenong South warehouse.

About the role:
- Mechanical assembly of machines and machine sub-assemblies;
- Collecting parts for assembly as per bill-of-materials or 3D model;
- Quality testing of correct machine operation for orders completion;
- Manufacture of pallets / boxes using a CNC saw and a nail gun;
- Packing up of completed orders and online booking of dispatches;
- Completing local pickups and deliveries;
You will need to have excellent attention to detail, be skilled and focused on quality and safety, and be able to get your tasks completed as efficiently.
You will be required to up-keep cleanliness of the working area, and all equipment and tools inspected and maintained to ensure they are able to function at peak performance and with the absolute minimum of downtime.
About you:
- Enjoy making things or working with your hands, and keen to do interesting things for a job;
- Experience doing mechanical jobs like assembly, fabrication, cutting, CNC machining;
- Proven performance of accurate and error free assembly including attention to detail;
- All our products are quality checked. You will be expected to produce assembly work that passes our quality checks in 99.7% of cases.
- Good knowledge of computers and all things IT, and proficient with use of e-mail, internet, Excel and similar.

Pay: $57,134.33 – $70,000.00 per year
