Following the award of a major long-term contract, REMA Tip Top is expanding its workforce. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical/Scraper Technician with valid Australian working rights to join the team to assist with Mechanical works on site.

- Perform maintenance, repairs, and servicing of conveyor belt scrapers.
- Clean, adjust, and maintain primary and secondary cleaners, ploughs, and water control units.
- Inspect conveyor belts to identify faults, wear, and damage.
- Adjust scraper heights to prevent damage to the conveyor belts.
- Conducting regular maintenance of impact beds and skirting areas, tracking frames, and V ploughs.
- Inspect the conveyor axis and recommend appropriate actions where necessary.
- Identify and maintain different types of scrapers.
- Troubleshoot, install, and commission new equipment as required.
- Perform quality checks to ensure machinery meets the company’s standards.
- Use hand and power tools safely for maintenance tasks.
- Provide technical advice to enhance product performance.
- Valid Australian working rights.
- Confined Spaces, Working at Heights, and Gas Test Atmospheres tickets.
- White Card.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Conveyor Belt Technician or Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, ideally in a mining environment.
- Strong knowledge of conveyor belt systems and associated components such as belt cleaners, skirting systems, and belt tracking.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Lab DAS.
- MSIC (assistance available).
- High-Risk Work Licence (EWP, Dogging, Rigging) – incentives provided.
- Valid Driver's Licence.
