Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for patients
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients of all ages
- Computer literacy and knowledge of Best practice and HotDoc are essential.
- Answer telephone calls and take responsibility for follow up actions including correspondence with other medical practices and booking appointments for patients
- Process payments and invoices related to medicare and private billings
- Multitask and prioritise while maintaining a professional manner
- Management of the waiting area including patient flow and tidiness
- Stocking and maintaining the cleanliness of doctor’s rooms
- Sorting and sending mail
Essential Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years reception experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- An enthusiastic team player
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and take responsibility
- Dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 27 per week
