About the role:
As a Mental Health Clinician, you’ll provide compassionate assessment, care coordination, and support to individuals navigating mental health challenges, as well as their families and carers.
Patient centred care will be the focus for you and the team, with every day being about working together to improve the outcomes for your clients and the community. You would be reviewing your caseload and planning your day, seeing clients in the community service or in their homes. You’ll conduct mental health assessments, provide individualised interventions, and coordinate care plans. Collaboration is incredibly important within the Moree Mental Health Service team, so you’ll regularly liaise with families, carers, your Allied Health colleagues and other service providers to ensure holistic care. There are team meetings, clinical supervision, and ongoing professional development as well to help you stay up to date and continuing to learn. Every day in this role brings variety, challenge, and the chance to make a real difference.

The Moree Community Mental Health Service is a supportive, multidisciplinary team. The team is dedicated to making a genuine impact in the lives of adults facing mental health challenges, along with their families and carers. The team offer holistic, evidence-based care, with each team member bringing expertise to provide thorough assessments, interventions, and ongoing support.
You’ll be part of an innovative team led by a supportive Clinical Coordinator. There is regular clinical supervision, mentorship, and a strong focus on continuing education. The wider Mental Health Service is a great network, with highly-skilled Allied health staff ready to help you out if you need. There are also other education opportunities offered within this network.

Requirements:
- Must hold a qualification: Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, Counsellor (Degree in Bachelor of Health Science Mental health, Djirruwang Program) which provides eligibility or membership of the relevant professional association / provisional or general registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Eligible to drive in NSW and willingness to travel for work purposes.
