The Workforce Partnerships and Professional Development at the Mackay Community Health Centre is seeking applications for a Mental Health Information Manager to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity
This position provides the Mackay Division of Mental Health and AODS with a central point of contact for mental health information management. The role includes several functions including maintaining and retrieving accurate service data, monitoring processes and business rules, progressing and managing system issues with QH Corporate teams, information systems training and provision of end user support.
It is currently responsible for the on-going maintenance, support, data integrity and evaluation of Consumer Mental Health and Addiction Application (CIMHA) and for the initial and on-going systems training for clinical and administrative staff. The position would also play a critical role in the implementation of any future information systems in relation to Mental Health.

Staff members of the Workforce Partnerships and Professional Development Team, work within a multi-disciplinary team framework to deliver high quality services safely and with a robust culture of continuing improvement. Staff work collaboratively with each other and with consumers, their families/carers and external service providers.
